Jewellery is priced at the day's rate for its purity, plus making charges for the design, plus GST.

- No. These are rates for the gold itself. A piece of jewellery is priced at the day’s rate for its purity, plus making charges for the design, plus GST. Ask at the counter for the making charges on any piece.
- When do the rates change?
- Our rates are worked out from the MCX gold price, so they move while MCX is trading — normally Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 11:30 pm (11:55 pm in winter). At night, at weekends and on exchange holidays the board shows the last closing rate and says so. The time shown next to the rate is the time of that price.
